undefinedRundll32.exe
I am having a problem with a window that keeps popping up when I try to change users on my XP or othertimes. The window says: End Program-Rundll32.exe This program is not responding. I talked to Dell tech support. They advised me to install Wintasks Pro, which I did. Still have the problem. Was there another procedure I should have followed? Thankyou

Hey man heres what might be the problem.

1. go to startmenu
2. go to run
3. go to msconfig
4. go to startup
5. Make sure that NvCpl is checked thats the Rundll32.exe

Hope that helps let me know if it does

What?

RUNDLL32 is the Microsoft Windows program that loads DLLs into memory so that they can be used by specific programs or by Windows.

Simply pointing out an incorrect response. I would think you would want to be aware ;)

It just sounds like a program isn't shutting down fast enough for the switch to take place. If you like we can take a look at your startup folder as well as the running processes .

Then after reboot:
Download 'Hijack This!'. http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/
Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log, load it in Notepad, and copy its contents here. Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet.
