So my issue is that i installed my OS (windows 10) onto my SSD (unintentionally) a couple years ago. It has reached the point that my SSD is getting full and the most things i download go into the SSD. My windows user is located in the SSD, and it seems to save most downloads to the SSD because of where my user is located. I have a 1TB hard drive but im worried of the SSD filling up and no longer functioning. Any suggestions?

You can change the default download location to anywhere you want. It is a feature available in most browsers.

For this reason ... and simplified Operating System backups ....
The only "stuff" I put in my SSD is the OS.
As Said ..... Move your Download folder ... before or after.

You can try the following steps:-
1- Delete Unwanted files from SSD.
2- Change the downloaded files location to other drive.
3- Create a backup then format the SS Drive.
