I'm using windows XP, shutting down a running process is straight forward, however a friend is using windows 98 and I can't work out how to shut down a running process which is causing him problems, cheers in anticipation.

Hi Rusty, trying to shut down a monitor file that will enable my friend to uninstall zonealarm. Unless this file is removed from the processes window, I am unable to uninstall said program, cheers
