Running Programs

    Hello,All

    Can someone please tell me where i can find a site

    that will show what can be removed from running

    in the Background on XP like that site for Win98

    or if someone here can give me some help with this

    now so far No problems with XP just need to

    Remove some of this S_ _T from running in the Background

    This may be the site that you already refered to but I have found it helpful for winXP: http://www.pacs-portal.co.uk/startup_index.htm

    Site seems to be down righ now but should be back up at sometime.

    P.S. - Unless you are refering to processes. I don't change them unless something is really chewing up my CPU.

    Go to start
    Go to run
    Type "msconfig"
    Hit Enter
    Select Start up

    I've attached a picture of what it looks like.
