I have a problem with windows 98. Everytime I right-click on any icon whether it is on the desktop or in a folder it displays the message "Runtime error 217 at 0000CA9A". If I click OK the message disappears and the appropriate menu pops up the would normally pop up if you had right-clicked on that icon. I am wondering what causes this error and how to fix it. Can anyone help me solve this irritating bug? Thanks for anything you could do.

I am not sure. What entries do you have for other programs on your context menus please? For instance, winzip or anti virus?
When did this start happening? Have you installed any new software right before this started happening?
