    I am using right now Linux Knoppix CD to get on internet.
    =============================================

    Under XP, When I start up normal mode there is no problem (except for some problem with spywarequake which I was trying to remove in safe mode)

    When trying to start my PC into safe mode (F8 ...) I get below BSOD blue screen error message. :mad:

    --------------
    IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL

    xxx STOP: 0x0000000A (0XF9D6E354, 0X000000FF, 0X00000001, 0X8050FD7F)
    ------------------

    Now I have done something stupid I think.
    I changed the settings in XP (msconfig->boot.ini -> safe mode) to start up in safe mode.
    Now I cannot get any further than this blue screen (in normal mode and safe mode).

    How can I reset msconfig-->boot.ini to normal mode?
    Thanks a lot. Benny

    Hi, the issue is solved now. I made a new boot.ini and then I could start up again in normal mode. I removed INCD program and now the safe mode is working OK.

    Spyware quake is also removed with SmitfraudFix
