Welcome to the board jaypars, but a little more information would be helpful.
When did this problem start, after a new install, configuration change or crash?
If it just began in the last few days you can try restoring a previous registry. To do this, press and hold the ctrl key as soon as the computer begins booting. From the Boot Menu that appears select "command prompt" option. At the c:\> prompt enter:
scanreg /restore
Use the arrow keys to select a started registry from one of the 4 you see which predates the problem.

I would suggest trying the msconfig boot options C, B, A, in that order...
