Forgive the ignorance on this one, but for the life of me I can't figure out if this is normal.
I just built my new gaming PC (yay!) and everything seems kosher. However, the 'Safely Remove Hardware' icon is constantly in my system tray, and it lists my main SATA hard drive, and my SATA DVD drive as devices that can be 'stopped'. Naturally, this is something I don't want to happen.
Is this normal? Are SATA drives always listed like this in Windows XP? Or am I missing something?
Thanks
