Hello, I have a Windows 98 laptop and a Windows XP desktop computer networked together. I also have a Mandrake Linux 8.1 desktop computer that I would like to be a part of this network. My only problem is setting up SAMBA. There are so many options! I need help knowing what to type in each box. Thank you!

I'm new to the Linux community so this is probably a obvious question, but I thought SAMBA was a server and all you needed for a Linux box to join a 9x environment was a TCP/IP stack?

If you deal with Linux you really should (best advise I can give you).

Than ask more specific question since nobody is able to rewrite the manual via this mailing list. Last, try asking in the Linux group to get better chances of finding Linux guys... :p

    Hope I helped.
