Samsung ML-1660 and UAC

    I have the printer mentioned above.

    For awhile after buying the printer I was under the impression that it worked well in Windows 7. And basically it does.

    There is one small problem though. If you enable UAC, the printer no longer works. Or so I thought.

    I've discovered that it prints to any application that is run as administrator (when UAC is enabled - which for me it almost always is. I'm one of the few people who actually love UAC).

    So now I'm wondering if there is anyone who has figured out how to get it to print without having to run programs as admin. Not that it's a huge inconvenience, except that I have my UAC set to prompt all user for credentials on the secure desktop, which means password entry each time UAC pops up.
