Sandisk MicroSD 1 gb phone card problem? cant copy music

    Im using the Sandisk 1gb card in the Samsung Z400 mobile, ive put the card in the adapter and into my computer, i can copy images onto the card no problem, when i come to copying music i get this message

    "Cannot copy "Song Name" : The device is not ready"

    what does this mean?

    I suspect now many people have that phone and have tried to copy music to it. You also didn't mention if you installed any software, or it appears as a disk drive.

    no software installed, it just appears in my computer under "Devices with Removable storage"

    Are you saying that when you drag-n-drop an MP3 file onto the disk in My Computer that you get that error?

    yeh, is there another way i should do it?

    I also tried copy and paste and it gave me the same error

    I guess the next step would be to try it on another computer.
