I have a SandiskSecureAccess flash drive, have been using it for about a year, plugged into my ASUS N550J with Windows 8.1. Last time I tried to open the vault I got this error message: "Invalid class name in archive".
It seems to partially open to show the different folders and drives but the vaulted part, shown with a vault icon, does not open. When I double click on that icon I get another error message: This vault could not be loaded, it may be located on another computer or the original file has been manually removed." Everything looks exactly as it always has and the folder sizes seem to indicate that nothing has been removed. It worked fine yesterday and I did not intentionally remove or delete anything.

Most likely a file is corrupt. Could be a simple file corruption, or the drive is faulty and affected the file.

Based on what I've seen and read with other file encryption methods, I'd say your files are gone.

Yea, that's what I suspect. I was just hoping I was wrong because the most recent are not backed up.
