    System Specs:
    AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 3.0GHz Socket AM2
    Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe, nForce 590 SLI, Socket-AM2
    A-DATA DDR2 PC6400 4096MB CL5 Kit w/two matched DDR2 800 2048MB
    Western Digital Caviar SE16 500GB SATA2
    Western Digital Caviar SE16 160GB SATA2
NEC DVD±RW burner AD-7173 IDE Black OEM
    OCZ GameXStream Powersupply ATX/EPS, (700W)
    Club3D GeForce 8800GTS 640MB GDDR3,
Running on: Windows XP Pro x64.

The problem I am having is the 500GB HDD is not showing up in windows explorer, it shows up in the bios and it even shows up in the Device manager. The device manager thinks there is nothing wrong with it.

    Thanks

Try changing boot order in BIOS, then shut down and swap sockets with your SATA drive cables on the motherboard.

Change the boot order? I can boot. It boots to the 160GB drive the 500GB is free its just a storage drive. And I have tried to use each of the 6 sata connectors and still nothing
