I'm working with an Excel worksheet (not a form) with many command buttons. Just in case a button gets moved or deleted by accident, I have saved most of the button properties (button name, on action, left, top, etc.) on another worksheet using a for next loop:
    for each cb in activesheet.shapes
    cells(x,y)=cb.name
    etc..
All work fine except I have not been able to save is the button caption. I've tried cb.caption, cb.charaters.text, as well as a few others but I keep getting "object doesn't support this property or method".
    Any ideas? Thanks
