I have Microsoft Office XP Pro on my computer. I am having this problem with one of my files. It was originally a web page and I saved it as a Microsoft Word file on my computer. Well, every time I open this document and then close Microsoft Office, it asks me to save it even if I have made absolutely no changes to the file whatsoever. What is causing this and how can I fix it?

There's probably some type of link in it, like to a web or something, perhaps an updateable date field?

When something like that is opened, it updates, and then it thinks its changed. :)

You might try converting from table to text if you don't have to save anything but the text.
