I have discovered an odd problem wit editing and saving html files.

I make my additions and changes to a web page in either FrontPage or NotePad (when I need to make a simple change in the html code). After making the change I am unable to save the revision getting an error message saying I cannot save the change. I can save the revision under a new name and afterword change the revision back to the original name. This annoying problem occurs under Windows Vista, but not Windows XP. Can anyone explain this oddity?
