Can anyone please tell me of a free programme to allow you to partially download a file and carry on with the download when the net is not so busy. I have tried to download a 45min update and have been cut off three times now.

I used to have Netzip which saved partial downloads, but you have to pay for the program now.

Can it be done under IE6 I wonder.

Thanks all

I use Go!Zilla. It is spyware but you can remove the ads with adaware. It then tells you that it will not work without ads. I have used it for months without ads and it works fine. I just get told each time that it won't work. Check it out.

I use GetRight... its a download manager & it will not only resume files it will break them in 3 parts to get it faster.
Note: Most servers do support the extra features needed by GetRight to resume a download, but not all do yet.

Just DON"T TAKE THE GATOR or Companion it will prompt you to take. Its spyware & it bog the system down, causing freezing and blue screens.

it is shareware ... but I've not been warned of it being disconnected or anything cause I have not paid for it.

Go!Zilla Monster Downloads Go.exe Download manager for resuming downloads and choosing multiple download lacations. Advertising Spyware. Check here or here for information about Spyware and here for a program that can remove it. Not required

You don't want spyware!!!

Check Here before you download
