Says im connected but cannot access internet

    My roomate and I set up our wireless router, he can connect to the internet but i cant. I see the network and can connect to it but when i try to access web pages I get an error.
    here is what i get when i type "ipconfig/all"

    a few things you can try
    1) plug the cable your roommate is using into your computer and see if you get on line
    2) try a different port on the router
    3) if you are trying wireless then plug in
    4) try pinging your roommates computer and the gateway on the router
    5) try bypassing the router and plugging in direct

    there is always the possibility of a bad nic

    Start, Run, CMD to open a command prompt:

    PING 192.168.1.1

    Tell us the results.

    PING 68.185.32.10

    Tell us the results.

    PING 216.109.112.135

    Tell us the results.

    PING yahoo.com

    Tell us the results.
