After reading an email in SBC Yahoo mail I select to save message as a HTML format message to my hard drive. Later when trying to open the document, it will display breifly in the browser and then display the message "page cannot be displayed". Has anyone else experienced this problem. SBC tech support had no answer. This has worked before. Work around is saving as .txt. Encoding in Windows, ISO, etc. has not solved the problem.

Addition to original post - my original was from a client.

This is from a client of mine. This is what I did after this.

I loaded Mozilla Firefox and did not have the problem opening the files. It seems that the SBC Yahoo browser (add on to IE) is the problem. I just asking if anyone has heard of the problem before. I think the SBC tech people loaded the WinVNC for remote control and were not successful. How successful has anyone been uninstalling Yahoo and then re-installing without losing any data.
