    Hello,
I'm looking for a solution to scan Driver license and extract both data and images to the computer. Any help will be welcomed!

Some OCR programs will keep text and images separate and digitize them to a single document with editable text. I know OmniPage and Textbridge Pro have that feature, and probably also the commercial versions of Abbyy Fine Reader. Textbridge Pro is probably the cheapest option.

It can’t be done in a single pass with the OCR software that comes bundled with most scanners.

Here's what ABBYY fine reader pro does ... some word position editing required.

    Picture >> Word conversion.
