Scan Disk

    :mad: I can not get scan disk to work properly
    It runs for a little bit and starts over and I can not
    find a sollution to this. I am running Windows ME and it
    is getting frustrating

    Have you ran it after going to Ctrl-Alt-Delete, and ending all running tasks (except for Explorer and Systray), and your screen saver as well?

    I have all my progarams shut down and my screensaver deacticated and the only thing runing is my explorer

    Have you also tried running Scandisk in Safe Mode?

    do you get any messages when scandisk re-starts?it really sounds like you have some app running somewhere.
    safe mode is as good a tip as anything though if you cant get it to run.
