I am running Win 98. Have installed a Canon FB620P scanner which included Adobe Photo Deluxe 2.0. My photo will scan but will not transfer into the photo application to save, modify, etc. It used to work. Hadn't used it for quite a while. Now I have uninstalled everything and reinstalled with no success. The problem is not scanning, because it DOES scan. Just will not send to photo app. Any suggestions here?
    Thanks.

Are you opening just Photoshop Deluxe and selecting File>Import>Twain 32? It should open your scanning software and the scan will go to PD when it is finished with the scan.

An alternative is to send the scan to a file and open the file with PD.

I don’t use a Canon Scanner and use Photoshop, but there is no way with my equipment to open the scanner driver, scan something and then tell the scanner software to send the image directly to Photoshop. I have to open Photoshop and instruct Photoshop to fetch the scan or send the scan to a file and open the file with Photoshop. Perhaps your software is integrated differently but either of those two methods will work for you in any case.
