I'm looking for a scanner which would take the old black & white negatives from the fifties & sixties which were about 2 1/2" in size. The ones I have seen so far scan only 35 mm negatives.
Also which is a better product, HP or Cannon?

Epson makes several models of scanners with negative and slide scanning abilities,I'm not sure the negative attachment will fit the older negatives however.

I have a Epson Perfection 1660 photo which does a credible job of scanning slides, however I haven't used the negative feature, check them out, they start around $100.00 and go up.

I've been quite happy with the Epson, and the OCR software included works exellent......Rhett
