    Any suggestions on software to take snapshots of your current screen image?

    In case you werent aware, pressing the Prnt Scrn button on your keyboard takes a screenshot.
    Then you can paste it into paint or your other imaging program.

    ....hit { PrtScr } button ...

    ( this performs a copy command to clipboard)

    ...then you can open "Word" and paste onto

    a blank page.....

    ( not the best place to put a picture, but it works,....)

    Irfanview is quickest and easiest,...I think

    My fav pic viewer screenshot app is JPegger (free), it also handles mp3's and has no messy install.

    I use SWB capture. It's small, un-obtrusive and works really well. (And the compnay that makes it has a cool name - Software With Brains)

    I use Screen rip32 for still images and CamStudio for avi movies. Great for training videos (Both Freeware)

    Snagit and camtasia ( for flash. avi mpeg, mov etc)
