    Hi,
I am looking for something that will monitor a page then notify me if it changes, even though the page/tab is not in focus.
I currently use "Pixel Change Detector" which is great, but it only works if the page/tab is in focus.
    TIA.

Have you considered an application like WebSite-Watcher ( https://www.aignes.com/ )? There are also services that are free that may only check a page once or twice a day and paid services that will check much more often and send you an alert ( https://visualping.io/ ).

Thanks for your input, but what I need is an app on my laptop that alerts me the moment a change occurs on a selected window even if the window is not in focus.

I want to be able to open a window with a specific extension running on it. Then I want to set up something to monitor the screen while I open a new window to work on other things.

My current screen monitor only works if the selected window is in focus.
