My screen keeps flashing and changing colour to a dark horrible colour, It's been doing this for a while but lately seems to be doing it more often and wont change back to what it should be like. Any idea's what the problem could be?

Check and re-seat the cables to your monitor and PC.

Try it in safemode and see how it looks.

    Is it a CRT?
    How old is it?
It could be on it's way out.

You can also try that monitor on some one else's pc, it will just load as a default monitor.

It's the monitor Rachael as it doesn't matter how plugs you have in as they will all be receiving 240volts

    Your welcome.
You can get a decent 17" crt for £40 or less these days.
