Hi.. I've been having this problem for a bloody long time. I get black screen (but theres still looping sound) after playing some game for a while.. It seems like the black screen is coming at random times. The games that doesn't crash on me is Warcraft 3 and WoW.. Seems like blizzard makes good games.. And games that crash on me is counter strike source, portal and teamfortress 2 and others.

    My specs.

Both online and non-online crashes. Why? What do you have in mind?

Yes ...sometimes the older drivers are better....in fact I'm using one on mine 8800GTS as the newer driver it would freeze...but now with the older driver runs perfect

Post a Hijack log may show something

    Download HijackThis to your desktop
    • Double click on HijackThis on your Desktop to install it
    • It will install to Program files by default
    • Then click on the HJT shortcut to run it
    • Click on Icon and choose "scan system and save a logfile" usually in notepad
    • Copy and Paste the logfile in your next post
    • Using Ctrl+A to copy All and Ctrl+C to copy and Ctrl+V to paste.

counter strike source, portal and teamfortress 2 are all based on the source engine, so that could be the problem (but I doubt it)

do other games work? say...call of duty?

also, how did older drivers do?
