I just bought myself a new TFT 19" and also a new graphics card.
A Gforce 6600GT. I updated the drivers on both card and monitor.

The problem i have is that when i try to play a game, it works fine for about 30 secs, then the screen goes black and a little message says "going into sleep mode". Sometimes the comp reboots after this, but usually I have to restart it manually.

Funny though, the game Battle for Middle Earth seems to work fine...but no others.

    Please, any ideas??

I would not blame the screen.

It suggests that the PC is crashing/locking up and/or rebooting. Hence the message on the screen when it senses that the PC has given up.

Look at things like graphics card temperatures, drivers etc since the card is a recent addition.

I don't think the graphics card gets too hot, since I have opened the chassi.
The drivers are the latest, 66.93.
I guess my comp have just given up...

Edit: I tried with my old monitor too, same problem, so no, at least it's not the monitor.

    Ahem...nevermind this topic at all.
    It was a RTFM-problem. :)
