erm..On the other computer i have i attempted to change the screen resolution. i set it too high. now everytime i login, windows and stuff loads up then it goes black and a little rectangle box appears saying "screen resolution too high, please select lower resolution", but from then i can't do anything, and theres no cursor. i just reset and it does the same thing. any ideas on how i could solve it?

is there anyway i can reset all my settings on the computer?

Boot into safe mode and then reset your display settings.

Boot in safe mode by pressing F8 repeatedly until screen appears. Choose safe mode. Click Start>Control Panel>Display>Settings tab>>>change resolution and reboot.
