script error

    when i go on line & go to a web page i get a pop up message that reads script error. how do i get rid of this .. thanks

    What version of Internet Explorer are you using? The most likely cause of this error is that you are using a relatively old version of Internet Explorer (i.e. Internet Explorer 4) and it cannot deal with something on the page. Consider upgrading to a more recent version of Internet Explorer. Hope this helps :)

    In Internet Explorer, go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab, scroll down to and uncheck "Display a notification about every script error," click OK. That feature is only of use to web site developers. Script errors on a page can only be fixed by whoever owns and maintains the page.
