Script Error.

    When it is necessary to restart the computeri I get a white desktop.I press the Active Desktop Recovery button.
    A script error box comes up with words and asks.Do you want to continue running scripts ,Yes or No.Click yes and nothing happens Click No and the box disappears.
    Never used to be like this , It used to fix its self up.any Fixes?

    XP SP2 1 gig ram 2.4 processor 80 gig HD.

    Yes, disable Active Desktop:


    Generally this feature has always had problems; however if you really have some active content you want to preserve -- you might want try to find out what is causing the error in the first place.

    You may also want to ensure that in Internet Options > Advanced you have "disable script debugging" checked; and "show a notification for every script error" UNchecked.
