    hey,

Along with my new computer system i'm going to get, I was looking into storage.
I figure I'll get a 120gbSATA 7.2krpm drive for main storage... but also..

a ~18.6gb 15krpm ultra160 scsi drive to have JUST Windows XP (and maybe some other essentials for quick startup) on it. 3.5ms (theoretical) seek seems pretty nice for just an operating system.

Is this really as good as it sounds? Thoughts? I'm sure this has come up in the past.

    thx

You may want to go to www.storagereview.com to compare the speeds of the two drives. Those 15000rpm SCSI drives are super-fast, for sure.
