    Hi ,

I have a Yamaha CD-R (SCSI) drive that I installed on my computer that is showing up as 4 seperate drive letters on Windows XP pro. This dirve is the only thing connected to the SCSI controller.

The SCSI controller, ribbon and drive were all tested and worked fine on a WIndows 98 machine.
I found that the drive is on the XP compatability list , so that's not the problem.
    (Yamaha 4x4x16 - CRW4416S-NB.)

    Any suggestions

    PaulV
