 I have an old 100mb Zip drive, SCSI version, with some disks I'd like to copy. As my current PC doesn't have a SCSI interface, and the SCSI sockets on the drive are "parallel format", I am wondering if there is such a thing as a SCSI emulator. I am running XP SP2.

Nope. You need a SCSI host adapter of some sort. The DB-25 connector is deceiving, the SCSI interface is in no way compatible with a parallel port. :) ZIP drives are a dime a dozen, I think I'd just look for a parallel or USB one on eBay or the like. I have a box full of ZIP drives since I retired them here, and I suspect many other people have the same stock. :D
