Solved Seagate External Drive not found

    It seems to be one thing after another at the moment...

    Windows 10 64 Bit PC is now not displaying one of two external Seagate hard drives - that was working fine yesterday.... connected by USB. the light is showing/'flickering' on the drive

    Checked using RUN and diskmgmt.msc and the drive isn't listed...

    any suggestions?

    I assume you tried using a different USB port?

    Is that a laptop or desktop computer that those 2 external hard drives are connected to?
    Do those 2 external hard drives have their own power source, or do they receive power only from the USB ports they're connected to?

    Must have been something wrong with the USB cable/socket - swapped and now working....
