I recall when I set this device up (SEAGATE GoFlex Home a few years ago, it was incredible picky about how you access files.

I'm using an Android box now to connect to my music collection and while I can get into the device through 1 program, I seem to hitting a rouad block using SAMBA Media Player.

It sees the drive ATOMIC2TB.

I'm then presented with
ATOMIC2TB
GoFlex_Home

Challenges me to enter
[domain]username
password

I've enters UNAME and PASSWORD
Ive' entered (verified from windows machine
GoFlex Home Public\UNAME
PASSWORD

...and every combination I could imagine ( I guess expect the correct one)
And still dont get access the drive.

My understanding is that I'm trying to access the
SERVER at GoFlex_Home
SUBDIR at GoFLex Home Public
and then
SUBDIR NEW MP3 Collection

I have all the right bits but can't seem to get connected.

Through the same SAMBA NETWORK PLAYER I can access my DNS 323, either drive, and effortlessly view files.

I need to have the MP3s on the SEAGATE NAS due to file access\connection dropping issue with the DNS-323. I had bought it to use for MP3s, but it keeps disconnecting when I try moving files to it.

THe GoFLex Drive doesn't do this, so I figured I'd just moved everything there... but the path is killing the idea.

Would love another set of eyes on this.
