    Very quick question to all the clever ones out there..... How do i get my computer to STOP showing what i've been searching for on my search engines?? Each time i click into the space it shows a list of everything ive searched on..... Many thanx and a Merry Xmas to everyone...

    I'm just curious as to what you mean. Which search engine are you using, Yahoo, altavista, something else? provide the link, because I haven't seen a search engine that stores previous queries.

    If you are referring to the addresses being stored in your address bar, then take a look at http://forums.techguy.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=62097

    Go to Tools/Internet Options/Content/Autocomplete, and click 'clear forms'.

    The search engine was 'Google' .com but ive manage to work it out now with tonyklein's help.......
