When I seach for files on my hard drive the results always come back file not found. This happens even when I am 100% positive the file is on the hard drive. I am using Windows XP.

    Any comments?

Maybe the file is a hidden file

Open any folder, go to tools - folder options - view - and tick the box which says "Show hidden files and folders"

.....just as a test I'll type in a file I am looking at and it still won't find it.

Search works fine on all my other computers.
