    That did it. Thanks!!

One other prob. When I restarted machine I got a spy ware error even though I temporarily deleted that program. Any ideas?

I have to run to work now. I will post exactly what that error was when I get back.

    Thanks.

Run hijackthis again and put a checkmark against these entries....double check
    in case you miss anything....
.....then,close all browser and outlook windows and "fix checked"

We've been seeing this one here turn up a lot lately:

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [BELT] C:\WINDOWS\BELT.exe

Nobody seems to know what it is and google doesn't help either.

    cbber

Could you please go to C:\WINDOWS and locate the BELT.exe file and copy it and send it to me here for analysis. Put in the subject line "file from cbber at TSG" so I'll recognize it.

After copying it rename it to Belt.old and see if anything complains about it.

Never mind sending the file. Tony Klein cleared that up for me.

    From TK's PM:

Just as we thought $teve! :)

    cbber

Run Hijack This again and put a check by this one. Close all browser windows and "Fix checked"

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [BELT] C:\WINDOWS\BELT.exe

Reboot to safe mode and delete:

    The C:\WINDOWS\BELT.exe file
