Searchpage.cc pops up when I am trying to open certain links on a website. One example is when I try to down load a java application from sun's website. Windows Offline Installation, Multi-language (j2re-1_4_2_04-windows-i586-p.exe, 14.52 MB). Rather than taking me to the download, searchpage.cc pops up. I have had other experiences where the url that I am going to displays in the address bar but searchpage.cc shows in the browser window. It appeard as though the page trys to "reload" every few seconds but something is stopping it. This seems to be a residual from an ugly take over by nkvd.us.

I have attached a HJT log, any ideas?

    So you're still broken... :(

    Did you do this?
    O15 - Trusted Zone: http://webcontrol.avv.com

That looks like an incomplete log in the running processes.

This is yet another CWS problem.

This one can also be removed.
