Download the FireFox PlugIn UnPlug, and it'll directly download videos for you.

That might be true, I don't use a download manager, other than the Firefox one.

    does not work,

when i try to download, i only get this file that is named "get video" , when i double click on this icon on my desktop, the pc does not know what to use to open it,

so i tried winamp and WMP, does not work,

the video on youtube is flash, should i download some kind of flash player ?

i already have flash player in firefox, IE i don't even bother with for anything dynamic any more,

i did get VLC media player, and it does play the downloaded video,

    with a problem though,

the video has a yellow bar right down the middle of the screen, could this be a was the video producer scrambled the video ?

Actually, I doubt I could listen to that a few times. ;)

I downloaded it with Firefox and played it here, no yellow line in mine.

    lol,

i see you are using a different player, i thought they were the same, tried to take a snapshot of mine and attach it, but the snapshot came out with the yellow bar, must be to encourage you to buy it,

i will check out the one that you suggested,

    mine is:

    VLC media player 0.8.6a(wxWidgets interface)

    the VideoLAN Team

comon', you can get into this stuff, give it a few days, it's a very very catchy tune,

when i try to download your FLV player, i can download okay, it seems, but when i click on the icon to start it, i get some kind of flash window on the screen that seems like it is from the command line, and i don't know how to start the player,

You've got to rename the file "get_video" to "whatever.flv" -- or whatever it is you want to name your video with the extension ".flv"

Then you'll need a media player that plays FLV files.

As was already suggested, VLC Player is a good option for playing pretty much any video file.

There are also media players made for the FLV format.... but VLC Player is best I think.
