I am using a wireless router. I have established a wireless network to my laptop in the house. OK: when I go to Control Panel and drill down to view my "wireless networks" I see the network's name and the security type is "WPA2-Personal" . But, when I go to the tool bar on the bottom right corner of my computer, where the "bars" are ( they start off on the left with a very small bar and gradually get taller-)- when I click on those bars and go to my wireless network's name and hover my mouse pointer over it (the name), it then reads "Security Type: Unsecured" . Yet, from the Control Panel it reads for that same wirelsss network name "Security type: WPA2-Personal " . why is it telling me my wirelss networt is secured (at the Control Panel) but then "unsecured' at the bottom right tool bar indicator? Is my wireless network in fact secured or not? thanks for any clarification.
