Hi,
Im doing a group presentation for my university about IT security.
I have to write about the ease of use of security software and other topics.

I can think of email security, such as check attachments, dont reply to spam.
But i was wondering about user access, such as read-only and not allowing users to install programs.

Just wondering if any of you are network managers or admins and can give me advice on where to look for some answers, maybe you got a manual when you arrived?

Ive also been told to look at firewalls, AV etc.
I use these all the time at home, so i know abit about them, but im trying to find out what organistations do to protect themselves from internal mistakes.

Thanks.
