I have successfully set up a network with 3 computers, offering only to share 'shared documents' and theses documents are read-only... they can not be changed.
when each computer is accessing these shared documents, are there vulnerabilities to viruses/worms?
basically...if computerA gets infected, can that infection spread thru file sharing, if so how can I prevent this ?
(these documents are spreadsheets or word doc. and I have noticed when I open either, that my Norton is scanning these docs but i also know for a fact that norton doesnt catch everything... reason why I am asking is because primary user on ComputerA is a heavy spyware contractor (haha, she plays too much on her pc and doesnt work enough !)
anyway.. i do not want to allow the other computers to be vulnerable to her misguided web surfing.
    thank You
