security log full when logging in to an account

Hi

My wife gets this error message that says "security log full only admins can log in to fix it" when she logs into her account on my pc ... any ideas how to fix this please ?

Are there events logged in there that have red Xs in them? If so, some action may be required.

To view the log:

In category view, click Start, and then click Control Panel. Click Performance and Maintenance, then click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer Management. Then click on security and view the events in the right-hand pane.


To configure the event viewer to overwrite older entries when the log is full:

Expand Event Viewer and then right-click the security log and click on "properties."
Under When maximum log size is reached, click the overwrite option that you want.
