Security problem - Norton found WSOCK32.DLL

    This site is fantastic. I had the [email protected] BUG and found several people talking about just that - and ways to cure it. Great.

    I now have another computer in which Norton AV found an infected file: WSOCK32.DLL.
    Anybody know what this is and how to cure it? Is this a system file that is needed or can it be deleted?

    It's a system file and it needs to be replaced by a clean version.
