security warning

    hi ,can someone help. Alway come out when startup windows xp .

    well, the first thing is: do you know what the software is? If not, I think it looks something nasty, but I'd get one of the moderators to have a look at it. also, see if you can post up a hijack this log. always put up the hijack this log. (y) ;)

    Also the fact that it's in the system332 folder doesn't look good: you really don't want anything nasty in there ;)

    definitely run a virus scan and spyware scan on your machine. i just googled the file name (.EX is weird as opposed to .EXE) and didn't come up with anything.

    if nothing else, you can search the registry to see if the file is set to run on startup, or try looking in msconfig to see if there is more info on the process.

    other than that i would wait for someone smarter than me to reply
