HI.
I run on Win98 SE.
I have had to have my System re-installed,and now have following problem.
I keep getting security warnings, and warnings certificates out of date, which they are not.
I have checked my date and time settings on comp, all ok.
Can anybody give me settings for ALL,script, active x,java,security-high,mediun,low,etc.
Many thanks
the brum

I assume you are referring to the IE settings and, as a 98 user, that you have IE6 SP1 installed (although you don't need it for updates any longer and could switch to Firefox or Opera - if you haven't already done so).

I use settings for IE that were recommended to keep it as 'safe' as possible and you can find the details here; http://www.spywarewarrior.com/uiuc/btw/ie/ie-opts.htm

If you read the advice carefully you will see that the settings recommended may stop some sites you visit regularly from working properly or at all. The suggested remedy for that is to put the sites concerned into the Trusted Zone (or as I did, switch browsers, in my case to Opera).
