I'm seeking the best buy on both:
XD pic card (to fit in my Fujifilm A330 digicam)
    and
    Card reader (Windows XP compatible)

Is the below combo a good deal, or does anyone know of a better bet?

    From ECost:
Olympus 128 MB pic card $24
Sandisk Imagemate USB 2.0 smart media & XD card reader $12.55
    $4 handling charge
    free ground shipping
Any hidden costs or potential snags I may not be aware of?

Does the reader come with a USB 2.0 cable?

Sometimes our local Office Max store has card readers free after the rebate. Several friends have bought them that way and have had no problem but I don't know what brands they bought.

Yes? Maybe I'll phone them & ask. Thanks for the info!

Update: I phoned OfficeMax, but that rebate offer had been a one-time one-day deal only.

So it's back to on-line for me.

Check the sale adds every week because I have seen them free quite a few times, especially at Christmas and the sale always runs the whole week not just one day. If there was some other kind of deal going on for one day I missed that one.

I already received the stuff from Ecost.

    Anyway, thanks...
