I am setting up an intranet website using windows 7.
I tried to run locally http://localhost. but this is not working. I checked in inetpub folder. but it is empty.
According to my knowledge, It should be wwwroot folder under inetpub.
    help me. Thanks.

From a very quick research into intranet it appears you need to house your intranet site in a folder called "intranet"...

Your web content should go inside "c:\inetpub\wwwroot". And http://localhost should work. Try uninstalling the feature and re-installing it.
